Intertek Product Certification
Intertek product inspections are performed by an Intertek Field Representative to review the client’s quality control program, their ability to conduct the required production line tests and maintain adequate records/controls.
Follow‐up inspections of the listed product(s) are generally conducted to ensure:
- Listed product(s) is still being manufactured in the same manner as originally tested and listed in the current product report.
- The required production line tests are being performed.
- The client is maintaining their internal quality control programs to such an extent that they are able to detect and correct products which do not conform to the Intertek Listing Report.

Quality Assurance based inspections:
Applicants may use this program to demonstrate compliance with requirements for implementation of an independent quality assurance program with inspections conducted by a third-party agency accredited in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020, Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection.
