Intertek has announced the opening of its new Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification Excellence Technology Centre, located in Santos (SP). The new building includes laboratories across key industries in Brazil: Caleb Brett, Food & Agri, Softlines and Electrical, in addition to offices and Science-led subject matter experts to assist customers from other industries.

Santos (SP) is strategically located to assist companies in need of technical analysis and solutions for domestic and foreign trade, as they are in the city's port region.

Intertek JLA forms a key part of this new comprehensive solution offering in Santos (SP). Focused on the Food & Agri Business., it will expand its capabilities and apply its expertise to reach seven nearby locations in São Paulo state.

Intertek is focused on delivering enhanced customer and market solutions. The initiative is part of the company's policy to continuously improve the transparency and ethics of its processes, in addition to delivering quality, safety and sustainability to national and international markets.

Currently, Intertek provides solutions for a large and differentiated range of customers for most markets and segments in Brazil and the rest of the world. There are more than 20 offices and laboratories spread throughout the country and, in Santos (SP), there will be more than 100 professionals, experts and technicians.
