The newly approved Occupational Health and Safety standard, ISO 45001, will replace OHSAS 18001 as the industry standard for controlling and improving health and safety in the workplace. Occupational Health and Safety will continue to be an integral part of companies’ integrated management systems, which typically encompass Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Jeffrey Eves is responsible for managing sustainability auditing and verification services for Green Service programs including ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems (EnMS) and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS) accredited certification programs, sustainability assessment services, greenhouse gas (GHG) verification services, and various environmental and safety related second–party and supplier/vendor auditing services. Jeff also manages Intertek’s Green Services global Center of Excellence (COE), while supporting business development, and auditor recruitment, qualification, and development activities. His expertise includes environmental management and occupational health and safety, assessment and auditing.

Senior Safety Engineer

Jessica Richardson, MS, CSP, CET is a safety educator and professional with comprehensive experience developing and managing occupational health and safety management systems and performance improvement programs in the construction & energy industries. Jessica is the Senior Safety Engineer for ZERO®, a company developing technology to make the workplace safer. She also teaches in the Safety Management Department at Slippery Rock University and is pursuing her PhD in Safety Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jessica is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers Utilities & Academics Practice Specialties.
