Intertek to Host International Small Wind Association of Testers (SWAT) 2012 Conference

Arlington Heights, IL – Intertek(LSE: ITRK), a global leader in testing, inspection and certification services, today announced that it is playing host to the International Small Wind Association of Testers (SWAT) 2012 Conference. The conference will be held April 24 – 26 at the Statler Hotel on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. This Conference is designed to help bridge discussions surrounding the small wind turbine market as it relates to testing and certification facing manufacturers, installers, and other key stakeholders within the industry.
Panel discussions will include representatives of each of these segments of the industry. Specific topics will vary from testing and certification; country updates; standards information; performance of small wind turbines; and technical breakout sessions on Day 3. The Conference also will feature a networking session and dinner for registered attendees, followed by a tour of Intertek’s local wind test site in Otisco, NY.
